New clinic coming to Romsey - December 2024
After 14 years of experience in sports physiotherapy and 10 years experience in private practice I am delighted to be launching my new clinic in Romsey. My aim is to bring the same high level of care and attention that an elite athlete receives to all. I enjoy working with a wide variety of ages, that participate in all manner of different activities and sports.
I utilise knowledge, expereience and some of the leading medical technology in order to achieve the best outcomes for my patients and use data collection to help my clients achieve their goals. It also allows us to track the progress of their rehabilitation.

Some of the treatment techniques I employ are :
Manual therapies to help mobilise and release the effected areas
Exercise prescription to improve range of movement and strength
Muscle Stimulation units to improve neural signals
Fascial release to mobilise all layers of tissue
Taping techniques for positional feedback and offloading
Gait analysis to review mobility patterns
Isometric testing to gather informative data
Dry needling to work at deep release of tight areas
Clinic location
The treatment studio will be at Alexandra House, Winchester Hill, Romsey, SO51 7ND.
I will be located on the ground floor with step free access and have a client waiting area.
There is plenty of free car parking and clinics will take place at convenient times such as evenings and weekends.
A bit about me

I've always been sports obsessed and knew that I wanted a career in the industry. After training as a Physiotherapist at The University of the West of England in Bristol I was fortunate enough to start working for AFC Bournemouth. I was able to learn the ropes of how a physio works inside a professional football club and worked with all of the squads from the academy through to the first team. I stayed in football moving to work for Notts County before being given the opportunity to work as a physio abroad in Greece. Once back in the UK I started my private practice journey and helped grow a clinic and progressed up to leading the clinical team. Alongside the private clinic I was lead physiotherapist for Wales Mens Hockey for 7 years travelling to tournaments across the world and being afforded the opportunity to represent Wales at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in 2022. I've lived in the Romsey area since 2018 and now want to help make a difference to the people that live here and keep them active and enjoying their sport.
In a strange way hopefully you don't have to see me too much as that will mean you are generally injury free! But if you need expert physiotherapy advice and live or work in or near Romsey then I can assure you that you will be in safe hands (quite literally!).
The clinic is due to open the doors in December 2024.
Please do get in touch if you would like to know more or would like to discuss injuries you have been struggling with.
All the very best
Tom
Currently I am attending a Body Stress Release therapist and since you will be located about 300yds from my home I am curious to know if you could provide any better/different treatment to help improve my pain relief. I have a trapped nerve at the L5/S1interface. Also have a torn rotator cuff right shoulder and pulled mussels in my back and neck due to a fall 18 months ago. These are my main problems. Also the inevitable question is your rates and do you use any other therapy e.g. acupuncture, deep tissue massage, manipulation or osteopathy?
