Hip Injuries
The hip is a large weight bearing joint but is susceptible to injury from sports and tasks that involve repetition and rotation in weight bearing.
A number of injuries arise from overloading of the structures around the hip. These can include bursitis, tendinopathies and greater trochanteric pain.

In younger patients the rim of cartilage or labrum can be an issue or a common sporting injury termed hip impingement. In older athletes Osteoarthritis can cause pain and limitations.
